The American Bird Conservancy is honored to have been recognized by GreatNonprofits as a “2021 Top-Rated Nonprofit.”28 October 2021 in Washington, D.C. The top website for community recommendations of NGOs and charities, GreatNonprofits, has awarded American Bird Conservancy (ABC) a “2021 Top-Rated Nonprofit.”
For more than 25 years, ABC has worked to safeguard wild birds and their habitats through bird charity organizations. As a result, many species have been saved from extinction, millions of acres have been preserved, and advancements have been made in the eradication of threats to birds and the development of conservation capacity.
Erin Chen, vice president of development at ABC, said: “We are pleased to be selected a 2021 Top-Rated Nonprofit. “We are proud of our accomplishments this year, from advising the National Aquarium in Baltimore on how to make all of the glass in its buildings, including all 684 panes in its iconic glass pyramid, safer for birds. These include working with our partner SAVE Brasil to protect the most important remaining habitat of Brazil’s Critically Endangered Cherry-throated Tanager.
Based on the rating and quantity of reviews that ABC got from volunteers, contributors, and recipients of assistance, the Top-Rated Nonprofit Award is given. According to one testimony, “American Bird Conservancy is my number one non-profit for bird conservation.” “I’ve been a member for more than 25 years, and I’ve always been in awe of the work they do to protect birds.
Birdlife international: wild birds and other wildlife
Since I enjoy watching birds, many of the charities we support are dedicated to them, but the American Bird Conservancy is at the top of my list. They collaborate with other groups to save birds and actively work to conserve endangered bird species in the western hemisphere. Their land and bird protection initiatives benefit both people and other species. I value everything ABC does for birds! Although ABC is not the biggest conservation organization in the United States, it is unquestionably the best example of how to focus efforts and use donations wisely.
According to Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits, “ABC is an excellent example of a nonprofit making a significant difference in their community.” In addition to their hard work, they also receive a lot of support, as evidenced by the numerous excellent reviews they have received from people who have had first-hand experience working with ABC.
Their award is a well-deserved acknowledgment of both. GreatNonprofits is the largest nonprofit giving website, where users may give testimonials regarding their interactions with more than 1.6 million NGOs and charities.
The GreatNonprofits Top-Rated Awards are the only accolades for nonprofits that are chosen by people who have firsthand knowledge of the organizations through their roles as contributors, volunteers, and beneficiaries of assistance.
